Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Chow mobile application and website. By using Chow, you agree to these terms.

Using Chow

Chow creates meal plans, recipe suggestions, estimated budgets, and grocery lists for general informational and planning purposes. You are responsible for checking ingredients, prices, availability, allergies, dietary needs, and food-safety requirements before purchasing or preparing food.

Accounts and subscriptions

You are responsible for activity under your account. Paid plans are billed and managed through the App Store under Apple's applicable payment and subscription terms. You can manage or cancel your plan in your Apple account settings.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Chow, interfere with the service, attempt to access it without authorization, or copy, reverse engineer, or resell the service except where the law permits.

Ownership

Chow and its original content, design, software, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of information you provide and give us permission to use it only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Service changes and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of Chow. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that meal plans, store information, prices, or grocery lists will always be complete or error-free.

Disclaimers and liability

Chow is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Chow does not provide medical or nutritional advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Chow after an update means you accept the revised terms.
